Del Monroe. BIOGRAPHY. Born in Santa Barbara, Del enlisted in the army after finishing school, and during a tour of duty caught the acting bug after seeing a road company version of the famous Clifford Odets play 'Picnic' in New York. He enrolled in the Pasadena Playhouse where he appeared in more than 30 plays.
