7 de oct. de 2023 · The order specifically states 28 days later with a cover photo of 28 Days Later. I try to look for it again on Amazon and every single option is by the same seller that sold it to me the first time. They had several reviews specifically referencing bogus copies of 28 Days Later DVDs they received. Then I think I'll buy it in person.
1 de nov. de 2022 · Edit- also the infected in 28 days later die after 6 weeks cause they don't eat That's really the only thing that makes the movie scarier than reality: the infected would've died from dehydration in half a week. Likely quicker than that considering they go everywhere running at full blast. Would it still kill millions of people? Absolutely.
I'd just like to add that anyone who likes this movie, you may be interested to know there was a low budget British horror anthology in the late '90s called Urban Gothic, and one episode of that was filmed in the style of part-mockumentary, part fake emergency news broadcast, part recovered security footage, and it shows a scenario exactly like the later movie 28 Days Later.
10 de sept. de 2021 · Having the same “issue” on Disney+ right now. Watched 28 Days last night and watching 28 Weeks right now. I thought 28 Weeks wouldn’t be as bad since it was only released one year before Ironman, which still looks good to this day, but I guess they’re working with completely different budgets and stylistic choices.
9 de may. de 2023 · The thing about 28 Days Later that is lost on audiences today is the impact of the “fast zombie” at the time. Before 28 Days, outside a few outliers, zombies were all slow, lumbering ghouls that represented a slow, ever-impending doom with no way to stop it. 28 Days brought fast zombies to the mainstream and it was a lot scarier when it had never been done like that before.
So, I wanted to propose a discussion about the fictional universe of the movie "28 days later" and "28 weeks later". Basically the point of the discussion is how the world would react to the virus, because in the film 28 weeks later, we have an international force that wants to repopulate the island, even before fully understanding the virus or verifying with certainty that the infection is ...
Maybe I've been placated by streaming services. It seems wild that movies like The Abyss, The Wall or 28 Days Later would be unavailable to stream in this day and age. I feel like I've seen all of these movies on major providers within the past couple years (28 DL in the past couple months).
This meme sub is under quarantine due to an outbreak of the Rage Virus from the film 28 Days Later and its sequels 28 Days Later: The Aftermath, the 28 Days Later comic series, and 28 Weeks Later. Memes based on these materials are allowed, but it is still unknown if memes based on parodies of 28 Days Later (i.e. that one Boondocks episode or the Party Rock Anthem music video) are allowed.
10 de nov. de 2023 · The infected in 28 Days Later starve to death, allowing for the story of 28 Weeks Later to happen, so I don't think they are zombies. Pretty much the same vibe, and one of my all time favorite "zombie" movies, but the distinction sets the rules and guides the storytelling.
