Arthur Liebehenschel ( Posen, 25 de noviembre de 1901- Cracovia, 24 de enero de 1948) fue un oficial nazi que dirigió el campo de concentración de Auschwitz en 1943 al dejar su cargo Rudolf Hoss. Tras la guerra, fue extraditado a Polonia por parte del ejército de Estados Unidos.
Arthur Liebehenschel (German: [ˈaʁtuːɐ̯ ˈliːbəhɛnʃl̩] ⓘ; 25 November 1901 – 24 January 1948) was a German commandant at the Auschwitz and Majdanek concentration camps during the Holocaust. After the war, he was convicted of war crimes by the Polish government and executed in 1948.

Arthur Liebehenschel was a high-ranking Nazi party member who served as the commandant of the Auschwitz Concentration Camp and Majdanek Extermination Camp. Liebehenschel joined the Nazi Party in 1932, and the SS (Schutzstaffel) in 1934. He became commandant of Auschwitz I in 1943, and moved to Majdanek in 1944.
Arthur Liebehenschel (25 Nov. 1901 – 24 Jan. 1948), SS Obersturmbannführer, served initially at the Lichtenburg Camp, but since 1937 at the Inspectorate of Concentration Camps, at the SS headquarters in Oranienburg. He became commandant of the Auschwitz Main Camp on 11 November 1943.

27 de ene. de 2015 · ARTHUR LIEBEHENSCHEL. El sucesor de Höss, Arthur Liebehenschel, estuvo al mando de Auschwitz desde 1943 al 8 de mayo de 1944. Una vez que el campo fue liberado, Liebehenschel fue detenido por tropas norteamericanas y enviado a Cracovia siendo ejecutado por las tropas polacas el 24 de Enero de 1948. RICHARD BAER.
