Behaviour (released as Behavior in the United States) is the fourth studio album by the English synth-pop duo Pet Shop Boys, released on 22 October 1990 by Parlophone. A Japanese special edition included a bonus mini CD , exclusive artwork and printed lyrics in a white velvet-like box.

Behaviour contó con la ayuda de algunos colaboradores externos: el ya mencionado Johnny Marr (ex-Smiths) aportaba guitarra en plano discreto, sin ensombrecer ni acaparar sonido.
22 de oct. de 1990 · Behaviour It was recorded in Munich and co-produced by Harold Faltermeyer who they originally chose because they were interested in using old analog synthesisers. On two songs, “This must be the place I waited years to leave” and “My October symphony”, Johnny Marr plays guitar.
This marked the beginning of an ongoing working relationship between Marr and the Pet Shop Boys, which included appearances by Johnny on PSB’s 2002 album Release and 2009’s Yes.
There are no big synths or catchy pop melodies on the Behaviour track. Instead, there are subtle synths, a dissonant guitar riff courtesy of Smiths and Electronic guitarist Johnny Marr, and an underlying current of pain and trauma.
