Christopher James Priest (Queens, 30 de junio de 1961) [1] [2] es un escritor de comic books, que a veces simplemente firma como Priest. Cambió su nombre legalmente alrededor de 1993. [1] Nació con el nombre de James Christopher Owsley.
Escritor inglés, Christopher Priest comenzó su carrera en el género de la ciencia-ficción, aunque algunas de sus producciones le adentran también en lo fantástico e incluso en el realismo mágico. Algunos de sus libros los ha publicado bajo diferentes seudónimos, como John Luther Novak y Colin Wedgelock para adaptaciones de películas.
