The most insane thing to me is that chinese and korean are revolutionazing the gacha landscape and the "traditional" japanese gacha model now feels so ancient and outdated.

Elden Ring has the most enjoyable combat for an open world. RDR2 has the best atmosphere and is the most immersive to me. I'd say those three choices are the best open world games for different reasons.
13 de sept. de 2024 · I watched it this evening. It was fun enough, but extremely goofy. The narration was a cool idea in theory but executed in a way that made it obnoxious after awhile. Still, it had some cool action sequences and that end fight was pretty rad. It suits streaming services well.

This one is similar to Limgrave in that it has lots of cool little things to find. This one has enormous lore implications and also has a certain type of area that is central to one of the questlines.
24 de abr. de 2024 · I particularly liked the little interaction with a shifty looking scavenger because I didn't expect what happened, to happen. But I loved that it did because it added some flavour to the world. And as someone who has been exploring, reading all the data logs and talking to everyone, there's a really cool world there.

Leda is legit a terrible person. I have not played Elden Ring, but I would never trust this character because I know a Griffith when I see one.
11 de sept. de 2023 · I can't stress how cool this world feels and how it's conveyed for an early 2000s Japanese PC ARPG. Beyond that, the game has like a couple dozen pretty lengthy archaic writings you can find by exploring. These writings are somewhat out of order, and help flesh out the world as you explore it.
