27 de ago. de 2010 · I can't connect to the The Dude server with a The Dude client. I keep getting. "connection failed: 10061: No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it". Dude version (downloaded from the very CloudCore to which I cannot connect) is 6.37.1. I've tried port 2210, 8291 and 22, both plain and secure connections.
Insert, right-click, select Appearance, select image (previously uploaded to the Dude), choose a proper scale for the image, select rectangle as shape and use white as color. Very easy and simple, I agree. At first I didn't figure it out myself, but then I mastered the interface and everything became intuitive.

Anything beyond that you will have not good results. beyond that you need a separate x86 device to host the dude. for big networks multiple virtualized instances of the dude will be needed, ssd storage etc etc.

Before an upgrade: 1) Remember to make backup/export files before an upgrade and save them on another storage device; 2) Make sure the device will not lose power during upgrade process; 3) Device has enough free storage space for all RouterOS packages to be downloaded.

Mikrotik antenna running 6.37.2 (for example), open Winbox via Dude, click Interfaces => double-click wlan1, Interface <wlan1> window appears.
