His replacement came in, saw the work in progress, didn't know what it was and gave the order for a full fledged implementation. You are not supposed to buy eternals, you are supposed to laugh at them.

Or throw in Shang Chi and another skill character. Before I got Eternals I was using SA with Shang Chi and Wolverine (post rework).

Like all great thinker's films, Eternals requires viewers to let it settle before truly appreciating it. In a genre that is becoming more and more populated by forgettable flicks, Eternals has a shelf life that will stand the test of time.
