24 de dic. de 2023 · My brother recently passed away and worked for HSBC over 30yrs paying into a pension. When he passed away,his WILL and pension stated a "wish" that his pension would be shared by 4 beneficiaries. HSBC didn't for whatever reason contact the executor of his WILL but go directly to the beneficiaries and state they "Will receive a lump sum".
22 de ene. de 2023 · You should be able to set up your Telephone Security Number (explained in the Welcome Pack) if you don't want to wait for the post to arrive. There have been reports from others of HSBC not allowing this for individual cases, but you won't know for yourself until you try.

27 de abr. de 2021 · 27 April 2021 at 6:45PM. I've just found out, to my horror, that HSBC has stopped allowing retail banking to download as a csv /excel compatible file. Apparently, they stopped about a year ago. Is there a work around? I won't be able to do my accounts easily and it makes monitoring/review of my expenditure over the course of the year much harder.
3 de mar. de 2019 · Hsbc physical secure key replacement! I need a replacement due to a low battery. I picked this up in branch yet there are no instructions on how to replace an old (dying battery) secure key, only activate a new account or change to a digital. I am not interested in upgrading to a digital secure key at this time. Any help would be appreciated!

Trouble is when you ring back you will either get an automatic message to say it was HSBC and not to worry or if you get through to a live person they will want to ID you by asking for partial details such as your post code, year of birth etc.
