On the left, click 'Choose what happens when I close the lid' and set that to 'Do Nothing' on both battery and mains electricity modes.
31 de ago. de 2020 · I found a simpler solution to this. No need to change BIOS configurations. There is an app called LENOVO VANTAGE which is actually controlling this. Go into MY DEVICE SETTINGS in the hamburger menu and you can turn off the FLIP TO BOOT which will disable the lid open issue. Thanks for your feedback, it helps us improve the site.

It offers only options to Do Nothing, Sleep, Hibernate, and Shut Down. I'm afraid those are the only options available for the lid close action. : (.

Click on “Change advanced power settings”. Click on “Change settings that are currently unavailable”. Scroll down to “Display” to find “Console lock display”. Thank you.

3 de may. de 2023 · When I close the lid of my laptop (LG Gram17) running Windows 11, the display of the external monitor I am using will go black, exactly 30 seconds after the lid is closed. My "Closing the lid" settings are both set to "Do Nothing" on battery and plugged in. It also occurs on a different monitor.
On Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Power options. Select Change advanced power settings. A pop up window will appear where a drop-down is available for all your Power Plans set on the device. Change the Lid close action setting on all the Power Plans. Expand Power button and lid > Lid close action. Change the setting to Do nothing.
4 de mar. de 2023 · Thanks for the reply. There could also be a setting in your computer's BIOS that allows the computer to wake when you open the lid. Get into BIOS by pressing F2 when you start the computer and see the Acer logo. Do this before the windows logo appears. Once inside BIOS the setting is usually under Advanced. Check if wake on lid open is an option.
