  4. 31 de ago. de 2020 · I found a simpler solution to this. No need to change BIOS configurations. There is an app called LENOVO VANTAGE which is actually controlling this. Go into MY DEVICE SETTINGS in the hamburger menu and you can turn off the FLIP TO BOOT which will disable the lid open issue. Thanks for your feedback, it helps us improve the site.

  10. 4 de mar. de 2023 · Thanks for the reply. There could also be a setting in your computer's BIOS that allows the computer to wake when you open the lid. Get into BIOS by pressing F2 when you start the computer and see the Acer logo. Do this before the windows logo appears. Once inside BIOS the setting is usually under Advanced. Check if wake on lid open is an option.
