In 2003, she released a full-length album, Long Way Back, through Astralwerks. The album, which combined rap with elements of soul and jazz, included tracks that reflected personal experiences, heritage, and various musical influences. Apart from rapping, the album also highlighted her singing talents.
Long Way Back opens with the beautiful jazz ballad Sweet Nova, where T-Love proves with complicated material to be able to go. The lovers of this genre, however, only at the end of the cd come into their own when T-Love revelling during the Oh-So Suite.
