Pablo Lucio Vasquez (August 11, 1977 [1] – April 6, 2016) was an American man convicted of the murder of a 12-year-old boy and executed in the U.S. state of Texas. [2] The murder occurred in Donna, Texas, in the state's Rio Grande Valley region.

Pablo Lucio Vasquez told police he was drunk and high when voices convinced him to kill David Cardenas in Donna, a Texas border town about 225 miles south of San Antonio. He also told detectives in a videotaped statement that he drank some of the boy’s blood.
Inmate Information. On 04/18/98, during the nighttime, in Donna, Texas, the subject and co-defendant, Andy Chapa, murdered a 12-year old Hispanic male. Vasquez struck the victim in the head with a piece of pipe and a shovel.
