Richard Timothy Sult is an American musician best known as the guitarist for the rock band Clutch. He is also the guitarist for an instrumental side project, The Bakerton Group, and an occasional member of the reggae rock / stoner rock band Lionize, as well as the band Deep Swell.
We spoke to lead guitarist Tim Sult about the five pieces of gear he couldn’t live without – and in keeping with that minimalist approach, his choices make up (aside from a tuner) the entirety of his current pedalboard.
Tim Sult: For this tour, I'm keeping it very simple. I'm only using one head. Usually in the past I've run two heads but this time around I'm only running one head into two cabinets.
Since its formation in 1991, the band lineup has included Tim Sult (lead guitar), Dan Maines (bass), Jean-Paul Gaster (drums), and Neil Fallon (vocals, rhythm guitar, keyboards). To date, Clutch has released thirteen studio albums, and several rarities and live albums.

Eso fue cuando vi a Sleep tocar en directo, cuando estábamos grabando nuestro primer álbum, eso habría sido en 1993.
