Vinton Cerf (born June 23, 1943, New Haven, Connecticut, U.S.) is an American computer scientist who is considered one of the founders, along with Robert Kahn, of the Internet.
Vinton G. Cerf has served as vice president and chief Internet evangelist for Google since October 2005. In this role, he contributes to global policy development and continued standardization and spread of the Internet.
