29 de jun. de 2020 · I love that so many states have romantic, mysterious, unique names that are vaguely American Indian, Latin, French or Spanish. How about simply Latinizing the name? Washingtonia (rhymes with PHONE-ya). That would better sync with names such as Georgia, Virginia or the Carolinas. Close to half states' names end in the letters -a or -ia.
