4 de nov. de 2023 · Duolingo has definitely changed since I did my GCSEs back in 2018 and I think it's definitely a much longer course so I don't know how much use it will be in the time frame you have unless you're very committed; however, it definitely helped me a lot and my streak is still going even from back then.

I've decided to do this by completing the Duolingo English test, and because it's been almost 2 years since I've done an English test, I was wondering how prepared I'd have to be in order to get an overall score of 120. 21 de jul. de 2020 · hi there, you could do the placement testand see. but be careful as a fellow GCSE student duolingo sometimes gives you different translations. also bare in my you learn latin american spanish on duolingo and may learn castilian spanish (spoke in spain) that has a different verb ending for you all (vosotros/as). hope this helps.
29 de ago. de 2016 · I used duolingo, tbh I think it's simply a waste of time. What I found to be better was going through reading past papers and then highlighting words i didn't know/came up frequently, and then memoriing these words. Also, you can do it as a competition, by writing these words on a flashcard and then seeing how many seconds it takes to do them all.

说实话，Duolingo English Test比雅思和托福简单得多，我考了两次雅思，两次的分数都没有上7，真的可以说雅思考试每次都会给我当头一棒。 其实多邻国考试前几年就有了，正是因为这几年疫情全球大流行，多场雅思和托福考试被取消，所以多邻国这种不受疫情和考场影响的考试才会被越来越多人关注。
