26 de feb. de 2022 · I've been on HRT for about 18 months now, and I feel like the *good* version of myself again. I'm much calmer, more reasonable and I'm just generally a happier, more positive person. I agree HRT is not perfect, nothing is going to be, but damn does it help. It really is a game changer and I am so thankful for it.

15 de sept. de 2021 · I didn't have insurance so I paid out of pocket which came to about $120 for the appointment. This amount also covered the blood work I would have later. Each appointment I've had so far had been that amount. My hrt costs about $30 a month but I'm on feminizing hrt which is cheaper than masculinizing hrt. Good luck<3.
HRT will cause fat distribution including in the face. HRT will also effect your skin. It can have some effect on your eyes. My results at 14 months HRT are quite nice. The fat that redistributed into my face has made my face more of a round shape. My skin has changed and is much softer. My eyes are more vivid.
Feminizing HRT will change your muscles and ligaments and pelvic tilt. This is common knowledge. My doctor told me the majority of his mtf patients lose between half an inch to an inch of height and some people like me lose more. I literally went from exactly 6'1 to a tiny bit under 5'11 so technically I'm 5'10.
Depending on your age that you start HRT, some effects just won't happen: mostly related to bone growth. Once bones grow, they can't shrink. And for trans women, once you hit ~25-ish, your pelvic bones fuse and stop growing. However, there are a lot of cis people with a lot of different body types.
15 de ene. de 2022 · My review of HRT so far, 2.5 months in. While I was still figuring things out, I really enjoyed reading people's posts about where they are and sharing their experiences, so I figured it's about time I gave back to community here. Also if you're reading this and start to think "hey, this sounds suspiciously like a person I know from work," no ...

17 de jul. de 2023 · Reply. MissDebbieR • 1 yr. ago. HRT can cause muscle loss and fat redistribution. These combined can, for some trans women, result in a little height loss and or slightly smaller feet. It's certainly not guaranteed though - how much "reshaping" (if any) occurs is very much dependent on the individual.
26 de jul. de 2019 · Injection Techniques. There are two injection techniques for HRT. Subcutaneous uses very fine relatively short needles and is apparently painless, or nearly so. Intramuscular uses a much longer and larger needle to inject deep into the muscle. I've not looked into it too much as I don't think I could do this.
