The Offering is the fifth studio album by rapper Killah Priest. It was released on August 21, 2007 through Good Hands Records, which is distributed through Traffic. Some songs reported to be featured on the album were released in advance, including the album's title track "The Offering", featuring Hell Razah.
Born in Brooklyn and raised in Bedford-Stuyvesant and Brownsville, Killah Priest (born Walter Reed) became infatuated with hip-hop as a child, listening to old school and new school acts alike. He also was influenced by local figures Genius and Onyx’s DJ Suave, who would often play local parties.
