30 de mar. de 2024 · I always run Minion the first time I log into ESO each day, just to check for any updates, and I got that message this morning. It did lead to me realising my router had (literally) fallen over, but that didn't affect the PCs internet connection so I wasn't sure what was going on with Minion, and without this thread I wouldn't have known where to look for info.
If Minion launches but the window won't appear, find the icon in the system tray (you may need to click the Minion icon on the Start bar to get the icon in the system tray to show up), right click, and select reset position. #19. September 2018. Sign In or Register to comment.
Minion doesn't care where it installs, what minion cares about is knowing the correct path to you addons folder. This should be something like My Documents > Elder Scrolls online > Live > Addons. The ESO folder in my documents is not your actual game install folder. It's just extra stuff, like addons and screenshots.
20 de abr. de 2022 · After major patches it could be that the site is busy and thus Minion is busy too. Just wait a bit or close it via task manager, rename the Minion.xml file and try again with a fresh setup. #17. June 2022. I notice that my version of minion says 3.0.11 in the app, but 3.0.5 is the one available on their site.

2 de jun. de 2021 · Use the 32bit version, do not install to the default folder but use e.g. c:\Minion instead, Allow Minion in your Antivirus and Firewall tools (Windws Defender e.g., Windows Firewall). Here is a "How to find the correct addon folder" which you need to select with Minion then:
30 de mar. de 2024 · Just an add in case it can help some others: I uninstall then reinstall, and in my case it went worse: Minion couldn't detect any addons, even when I was specifying the folder.
17 de may. de 2023 · If it's an unusual path you need to use flatseal to allow the flatpak sandbox for minion to actually access the folder. Edit v5: If nothing works, DM me here so I add you on Discord and we can find the solution, after that I'll post it here for other people.
Addons are stored in a My Documents Directory, not the game path. So Steam should not matter. Here is my path, note I have My Documents on a different drive than the game is installed on. d:\My Documents\Elder Scrolls Online\live\AddOns. Anyway, you do this in Options, not the Gears, but the Word Options on the Main Screen of Minion.
