  2. The Math Placement Test is a multiple choice exam in which you are required to answer every question. It is given on a computer. When taking the Placement Test, you cannot return to a previous question, so please make every effort to accurately choose your answers.

  3. The test is designed to help you to succeed in school. Your score helps you and your advisor determine which courses are most appropriate for your current level of knowledge and skills.

Students who have successfully completed credit-bearing classes at regionally accredited colleges will not have to take the placement test in the areas in which they have already been successful. Students who present an English grade of D/+/- must register for ENG 100 or a co-requisite ALP course, after consultation with an advisor.
