Please do NOT rent a car seat. You don’t know the history, cleaning, or anything that was done to it. If you’re flying, your kids obviously have their own seat so just take your seats on the plane with you. They should sit in a car seat on the plane anyway.
According to the Enterprise website to rent you need to have a valid license (G2 is fine), valid form of payment, and meet the age restrictions (must be over 21, if you're under 25 you'll have to pay an extra ~$20 per day) Chiming in, I was able to use a G2 at Hertz and Budget. Just use Turo. Easy peasy. I looked up online and got mixed answers.

One tip for you a bit outside your inquiry of rental car companies is that the gas stations in Iceland require a PIN code for your credit card.
25 de jun. de 2022 · Economy Rent-A-Car is a total rip off. My price quoted for nine days in Costa Rica was $348. When I got there they charged me $60 a day for the insurance plus tax on the insurance so the total came to about $600 extra. This place is a rip off.!! Reply.

26 de may. de 2021 · And yes in the Normandy area I’m going to have to rent a car b/c going from Beach to beach to see the memorials and cemeteries the distances are too great and I don’t think there’s a train along the coast. Utah-Omaha area but I also want to visit the other three beaches Juno, Gold, Sword w/o a car it’s going to be impossible.
Just a quick positive anecdote: Rented a car from Vacanza rent a car in Chania, just for 2 days for a total of $137.82 usd (mid-May, 2023) for a Suzuki Celerio with manual transmission. Went to the office the night before and set up the terms and came back the next morning to sign the agreement, pay, and get the car.
