The Gaiety School of Acting (GSA) is a drama school located on Essex Street West in Temple Bar, Dublin, Ireland. It was founded by theatre director Joe Dowling in 1986. Patrick Sutton, theatre director, was director of the Gaiety School of Acting for 30 years from 1993.
The Gaiety School of Acting is widely regarded as Ireland’s premier training facility for actors. The Gaiety School of Acting is a self funded not-for-profit organisation. We successfully train actors for the theatre, film and television industries.
The Gaiety School of Acting is located in the heart of Dublin’s cultural quarter in Temple Bar. Classes take place in our modern studios, ideal for acting and dance classes. The school’s staff are on hand to assist both parents and students in any way they can.
