Antoine de Lamothe-Cadillac o Antoine Laumet de La Mothe, señor de Cadillac ( Saint-Nicolas-de-la-Grave, 5 de marzo de 1658 - Castelsarrasin, 16 de octubre de 1730) fue un explorador francés de la Nueva Francia, el territorio norteamericano que iba del este de Canadá al norte de Luisiana.
Commandant du fort de Michillimakinac en 1694, il fonde le fort Pontchartrain du Détroit en 1701 en prévoyant un grand avenir à ce qui deviendra la ville de Détroit. Après avoir été gouverneur de la Louisiane, il rentre en France où il est nommé gouverneur de Castelsarrasin .

Antoine Laumet de La Mothe Cadillac (born March 5, 1658, Les Laumets, Fr.—died Oct. 15, 1730, Castelsarrasin) was a French soldier, explorer, and administrator in French North America, founder of the city of Detroit (1701), and governor of Louisiana (1710 to 1716 or 1717).
