25 de oct. de 2024 · People are acting like Amad has been good. He looked great in preseason, but that has not kicked on into the regular season. He was anonymous against Fulham on the opening day, had a couple good performances, but he has one goal, and one assist, which was a 90 min goal to go 3 up on Southhampton, to show for it.

Amad should hedge his bets and acknowledge he can outlast him, but at the same time he’s 22 and has lost a lot of development time by just not being out on the pitch in the last 12-18 months. Seems a fair assesment to why he hasn't been given that money Ch of an opportunity recently. 3 de oct. de 2024 · With the ball, we tended to go 3-2-5 with Mazraoui at the RCB position, Dalot as the LCM position. So Dalot was closer to help Rashford, Eriksen was over with Rashford, Casemiro stayed centrally and Bruno tended to go centrally, so Amad was very isolated in attack but tended to do his defence decently most of the time.
24 de oct. de 2024 · He hasn't shown enough to definitively justify being ahead of Antony in the pecking order either. Besides, Antony came on as a substitute for about 20-25 minutes, and outside of the game against Barnsley, he barely played this season. Additionally, the starting wingers have been Garnacho and Rashford, not Antony.

26 de sept. de 2024 · 65. Amad has been good in general this season, definitely an improvement over Antony, but frankly that isn't saying much. But he hasn't been perfect, I would say he has gone missing in games as much as he's been one of our better performers in other games, he is a young player and still inconsistent.
