While I've found a workaround, this is a pretty significant bug, and unless somebody has a permanent solution to it, I'll be downgrading back to 8.1, because it's a bit insane to not be able to use my keyboard until I dig into my local services.

26 de sept. de 2018 · if your rotation lock button in action center is grayed out like this. Go to Task Manager (press ctrl + alt + delete), and click on the services tab, and look for ymc process (ymc.exe = Yoga Mode Control, which is the culprit, and it happens when you rotate your screen to portrait mode) Right click on ymc, and stop the process. Leave it that way.
25 de ene. de 2015 · Installed the preview on my Yoga 2 Pro as it needed a rebuild anyway. It all works ok except for the transition app. As soon as you switch to tablet mode the keyboard is disabled which is good but once you go back to laptop mode it is still disabled with seemingly no way to re-enable it. Even the keyboard is disabled in bios.
22 de ago. de 2020 · It is responsible for both grayed out lock screen, and loss of capacitive touchscreen functionality. To ungray the screen lock, simply deactivate YMC.EXE. But the touchscreen loss may or may not come back when a Windows update happens. If you delete ymc.exe. the laptop works fine, but Lenovo Updates will replace it again.

Thanks for your feedback, it helps us improve the site. They do roll out the updates gradually across the world so you may just have to wait.
