  1. 28 de ago. de 2024 · Whenever I log into my Spotify account on the Web Player and close my browser, I get logged out the next time I access the site. I have tried two browsers (LibreWolf and Brave) and both have this issue. Solutions found in other related posts, like clearing all cookies and bookmarking the Web Player, didn't work either.

  2. 20 de sept. de 2024 · The webplayer used to work just fine for me, but since a few weeks, the play button seems to be broken. I tried playing music, playlists, podcasts, but nothing works. The webplayer just doesn't react to my clicking the play button. I tried emptying the cache, reloading the page, even restart my laptop (macbook pro), but it doesn't change anything.

  5. 30 de jul. de 2021 · On the spotify web player, my play button (all the controls at the button) are greyed out. When I click to play a song, it doesn't play. I can play music on the Desktop app just fine, but not on the web player. I tried incognito mode, also tried doing Shift+F5, tried logging out and back in, but not fixed. This issue only appeared today.

  6. 16 de may. de 2018 · Another quick fix to that issue (Spotify web player crashing because wrongly loading last played song) would be to try and load any song from its html link, found on the web. Worked for me, thank you Madonna 😜. (had to hit the browser's reload button a couple of times though) View solution in original post.

  7. 16 de may. de 2015 · I turned off hardware acceleration and I dropped from 1.2GB of ram to only 150MB. Spotify probably uses this option as a "contract" to use more resources from your pc than it really needs to. To do so, Open your desktop appliction, go to the top left of spotify and find view, finally uncheck "Hardware Acceleration."

I've also noticed that once the memory usage starts ramping up, if I expand the browser window that's running Spotify and then minimize it again, the memory usage will drop back down to around 200mb. That's without stopping the music or any interaction with the web player - simply expanding and minimizing the window its in.

  9. 6 de oct. de 2017 · The browser/web player started playing like normal again, as if it got "unstuck". If it's indeed the same problem, worst case you might need to fiddle with different devices playing back to the web player (and vice versa, also might need to close and reopen web player) to get it working again. One user discovered that clicking on an album's play button in fury and refreshing the page whilst carrying on clicking fast until the page reloads fixed their issue. 3. The Spotify Connect icon on the left of volume bar. Make sure that 'This web player' is chosen.
