IPEDS Access Database 2018-19. The Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS) is a system of interrelated surveys conducted annually by the U.S. Department of Education's National Center for Education Statistics (NCES).
The survey materials returned for a particular institution may vary from the actual survey screens the institution sees during data entry. If you have questions concerning this, please contact the Help Desk at 1-877-225-2568 or ipedshelp@rti.org.
You will still be able to view and print (or download) any survey data that are locked by logging into the system. Should you discover an error in your data, contact the IPEDS Help Desk at 1-877-225-2568.
This module describes the nine major topical areas of data that are collected through IPEDS: Institutional characteristics; enrollment; completions; graduation rates and outcomes; admissions; student financial aid; human resources; finance; and academic libraries.
Download data from IPEDS complete data files. For each year, IPEDS splits data into several files - up to several dozen. The datasets are each saved as .csv and compressed into .zip (Stata file .zip are also available).
