24 de oct. de 2019 · Created on October 24, 2019. Problem adding a 1and1 account to Outlook. I am attempting to add a 1and1 account to outook. After I press the IMAP button, outlook asks me to enter the email password and then a second dialogue box (in the old look and feel) opens asking me to confirm the password, server name and user name, which then repeats.

21 de ago. de 2012 · I have an imap account setup with my email server (www.1and1.co.uk) I can see all emails in Outlook, their webmail and my mobile. However I have set up some Inbox subfolders on their webmail that don't appear in Outlook. I have tried Updating folder list but that doesn't show the subfolders.
10 de dic. de 2013 · I have been able to send emails but do not receive them. I have gone back to 1and1.com a minimum of 4 times, trying different settings on the email provider. My Apple laptop continues to receive all emails and sends them as will the 1and1 webmail server.

10 de jul. de 2020 · I decided to change all the passwords which I have successfully done on the webmail, on my iMac, iPhone and a couple of other devices. When I came to the MacBook I had some IONOS e-mails already set up on Outlook which had been working before I changed password.I decided to start again and deleted all these but then was not able to set any up again, getting the message in my original post.

If you have added your 1&1 as a connected account in Outlook.com, you have to know that syncing from your connected account to your Outlook.com account is one-way only. Email sent from your connected account using Outlook.com will not appear in your connected account Sent Items.
