TL;DR: visited 2 apartments offered through blocket x qasa, that 1 resulted in a scam (no money lost thankfully) and the other is likely the same. Asking for some advice how to check someone is entitled to rent an apartment. • If they are abroad, that is a red flag.

If you order something, make sure you do it with a system where you can withhold the payment until you've recieved the product. 2. Reply.
2 de ago. de 2023 · Blocket then holds the money until the item is delivered and approved by the buyer, whereupon the money is transferred to the seller. Once you make the payment, the seller gets a qr code and has 7 days to drop off the item to the local postombud/Schenker.
31 de jul. de 2022 · can I use blocket as a non Swedish resident? Hey, I am from Germany and I saw a really nice car for sale on blocket and I already registered there. I cannot however contact the seller without identifying myself. But I neither have a Swedish phone number (tried all throwaway numbers already) nor do I have a bank ID with an qr code.

I was originally looking at AirBnB, but the prices are high, and my friends recommended me Blocket. I heardd good things about Blocket, but my Swedish skills are almost non-existent.
5 de feb. de 2023 · Be prepared that many sellers will not be interested in selling to you. There has been many scams with buyers outside of Sweden so people will be suspicious. Some ads flat out say they will only speak Swedish. My best suggestion is to find a contact in Sweden who can help you get in contact with the seller. 6.
