Compatible KSP Versions by default, CKAN will only lists mods which are compatible with your game version. Since many mods which are compatible with 1.4.x still work fine in 1.5.x and 1.6.x, you can allow CKAN to show and install these mods as well:

10 de ene. de 2024 · It just pulls the downloads from the same mod pages that you would download manually (for example SpaceDock and Github), so it is extremely safe, as long as the mod's download link is safe (which 99% of the time it is). It a pleasure even, saving me hours of downloading the mods manually. Very few mods are not be able to be installed using CKAN ...
21 de feb. de 2023 · Once again you can install manually or from CKAN, and I encourage you to find the in game settings and tweak them to your liking. I personally like to raise the vacuum ambient light level a bit, to around 0.10, and crank the planetshine effect intensity to the max to make it extra noticeable.
29 de may. de 2023 · was. CurseForge is under (relatively) new ownership, OverWolf and is actively working on improving the user experience of KSP (and KSP2 when modding is officially supported). CKAN was and continues to be a good idea, poorly executed. It screws up, even though it tries, really-really-really hard not to.
