  1. 6 de nov. de 2012 · American English. Nov 6, 2012. #5. Bienvenido al foro, Andrew. Sin contexto, la diferencia entre tweet y twit se puede encontrar en nuestro diccionario. Uno es onomotopeya para el sonido de un pájaro, y el otro es sustantivo para una persona de poca inteligencia. Tienen pronunciaciones distintas. En el contexto de Twitter, tengo entendido que ...

  2. 5 de abr. de 2013 · Vietnamese. Apr 5, 2013. #3. entangledbank said: The usual meaning of 'twit' is a stupid person, but it's often said (often by people who claim to know about obscure words) that it also means some kind of pregnant fish. I have heard this, but never actually seen it used with this meaning. Lloyd is showing why it can't mean this exactly.

  3. Context is a parody of MobyDick. The narrator sends messages to followers. Anyone follow @Pip? He’s a smart guy. You think it’s a joke that I tell you a little black man is brilliant? Nor smile so, twit. Quelqu’un suit @Pip ? C’est un malin. Vous...

  4. 27 de jun. de 2011 · In the US it has the meaning it does here - slang for vagina, slit, clit. But in the UK 'twat' is a word pretty much synonymous with 'twit' - meaning a fool - OR as a verb, something like 'to hit' (say with a bat). 7. 19 de oct. de 2015 · You now have a decision: do you stick (stay with your 16 points) or twist (take another card.) To stick - to do nothing; remain in the same position; to ask for nothing further. To twist - to go ahead, often for advantage, but also with a risk of being unfortunate.

  9. 17 de sept. de 2009 · Sep 17, 2009. #2. I've never heard it as meaning "stupid," but we do have the AE colloquial term of "twit," as in "mindless twit" when referring to a number of U.S. young females who have achieved celebrity. "Tit" is almost always vulgar, but one exception is that apparently there's a bird called by that name.

  10. 23 de abr. de 2006 · Similar to the twit vs. git/cunt distinction that Jackgraham made further up in the thread. And it can only be applied to men.
