  1. How safe it is to use Aptoide pretty much depends on your choice of the repository. One is known to be manually curated and, I dare say, as safe as Google Play, Amazon App Store, and others. A few can be assumed as pretty safe – especially if you know so about their owners, and stick to apps showing the "trusted" shield.

  2. 13 de ene. de 2016 · Apparently Aptoide-dev was installed but somehow only for the guest user. All I had to do was switching to the guest user, going to Settings -> Apps and remove the Aptoide-dev package. Going back to my profile did some weird stuff (I can't switch between apps, it'll probably work after restart) but I managed to install Aptoide finally. Thanks.

Lastly, since altering an app and repacking it with the original signature has limited probabilities of success (tried that myself, but to no avail), updating your apps via Aptoide is generally safe, providing that you leave the abovementioned checkbox ...

  6. I found this “Aptoide” app on my Samsung Galaxy A5 the other day but I certainly don’t recall downloading it. I opened it up and somehow got to the updates section. It showed me available updates for a bunch of apps, some of which I have but others I don’t.

  7. 2 de ago. de 2016 · Basically this. Since the update rollout from Play Store is staged, some people get the update earlier than the other, and they share the APK to other (e.g. XDA, APKMirror, Aptoide) for other people to sideload it. It almost always happened to me when reading new features of Google apps' update, when I haven't got the update yet. –

  8. 12 de nov. de 2015 · Aptoide App for Android (source: Aptoide; click images for larger variants) Often associated with black markets and other "unsafe sources", that's not what it is by default (like peer-to-peer exchanges are not, and like Youtube isn't – though you easily can find "pirated content" there).

  9. Where an app is stored very much depends on several criteria: System apps / pre-installed-bloatware-apps are stored in /system/app with privileged apps in /system/priv-app (which are mounted read-only to prevent any changes). You may also find system apps in /custpack/app 's subdirectories. normal apps in internal memory go to /data/app.

  10. Another alternative would be using Aptoide, where you could establish your own repository/channel (they call it "store"). There's an app available for your users, which is similar to GooglePlayStore – which means no notices or manual checking needed, updates are signaled automatically.
