27 de dic. de 2021 · Transfer Case question. I am picking up a new-to-me 2014 Cayenne with 88k on the clock. Well documented car from a meticulous owner. But I’ve been reading about issues with the transfer case, including a YouTube where the poster claims Porsche has recalled Cayennes under 10 years old to address the transfer Case. This car has no issues currently.

Hi, in case of the Cayenne 92A models the temporary solution to fix this problem is the following: There is a main connector under the FL, FR seats. Disconnect this connector pushing the two side blocking pin inwards together and pulling the connector at the same time.

Is this something that's normal in a Cayenne Turbo? I hope not because it feels as if the vehicle pauses for a long time before it catches then jerks into gear.

It indicates a faulty thermostat; in my case it was stuck open and the engine wouldn’t get over 160 degrees and I subsequently started throwing O2 sensor slow to heat up codes. Replaced the water pump and thermostat, took about 3 hours and $500 in parts including the coolant vacuum system tool.
