I've known of Nick Cave for decades but never really dived into his music. I had no idea what I was missing. I'm coming here at this moment because I just listened to this rendition of Ship Song performed by Eddie Vedder at his solo show in Seattle last November. It is one of the most profound expressions of mature love I have ever heard.
