Jessica Jones has just gained three new cast additions, in the form of The Originals’ Eka Darville, The Kings of Summer actress Erin Moriarty, and Red Widow‘s Wil Traval.. Based on the initial casting report, the trio won’t be taking on roles of pre-established comic book characters, but will instead play smaller supporting parts.

My paper, as a result, intends to highlight how the comic book Alias vol. 4: The Secret Origins of Jessica both attempts and in some instances, fails to tackle gendered power structures and abuse.
