Mankiewicz’s All About Eve on Blu-ray in a new 2-disc set, delivering the film on the first dual-layer disc in its original aspect ratio of 1.37:1. The 1080p/24hz high-definition presentation comes from a 4K restoration scanned from the 35mm original camera negative.

The Legacy of Some Like it Hot is a 20-minute featurette more or less about the influence of the film and its growth in popularity over the years, along with its initial reception and, of course, Marilyn Monroe’s part in making it a success.

George Sluizer’s 1988 version of The Vanishing receives a Blu-ray upgrade from Criterion, who again present the film in its original aspect ratio of about 1.66:1 on a dual-layer disc. The high-definition transfer is presented in 1080p/24hz. The upgrade is substantial over Criterion’s previous DVD.
31 de jul. de 2010 · Criterion’s new Blu-ray edition for Marcel Camus’ 1959 hit Black Orpheus presents the film in its original aspect ratio of 1.33:1 on this dual-layer disc and presents the image in 1080p/24hz. The Blu-ray’s video transfer is above and beyond Criterion’s previous DVD edition, which was horrendous in just about every way a transfer can be.
