  7. Andries Bonger (1861 - 1936) Andries Bonger, brother of Jo, met Theo van Gogh in a Dutch expatriates club in Paris in 1881. They became close friends and eventually shared lodgings together in Paris. It was through Andries that Theo met his future wife, Jo. Andries remained good friends with Theo until his Theo's death in 1891.
