Anita Louise Lane (18 March 1960 [1] – 27 April 2021) was an Australian singer-songwriter who was briefly a member of the Bad Seeds with Nick Cave and Mick Harvey and collaborated with both bandmates. Lane released two solo albums, Dirty Pearl (1993) and Sex O'Clock (2001).

28 de abr. de 2021 · Anita Lane, the singer-songwriter who co-wrote some of the most memorable songs of the Birthday Party and Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, has died at age 61. She was also a solo artist who wrote dark, luscious chamber pop that owed a debt to Burt Bacharach and Serge Gainsbourg. Her light, airy falsetto and eerie lyrics were a calling card of Cave's early work.
