Campus History. Anoka-Ramsey began in 1965 with 600 students in a wing of Centennial High School in Circle Pines, MN. In 1967 the college moved to the current Coon Rapids location with the newly-constructed facility opened doors to 1,373 students, becoming the first "junior college" campus in the Twin Cities Metropolitan area.
Anoka-Ramsey Community College offers several programs and courses online. Anoka-Ramsey also offers the most online course credits of all two-year colleges in the Minnesota State system.
