Anthony "Anto" Thistlethwaite (born 31 August 1955, Lutterworth, Leicestershire, England) is an Irish multi-instrumentalist best known as a founding member (with guitarist Mike Scott) of the folk rock group, The Waterboys and later as a long-standing member of Irish rock band The Saw Doctors.

13 de may. de 2024 · Anthony Thistlethwaite is one of the original members of the band. He has co-written several Waterboys songs with Mike and was a mainstay of the band on the road. And of course, he played on all of the albums up until the band parted ways in 1991. He has also featured on the 'A Rock In A Weary Land' album.
