Antony David "Tony" Kidman AM (10 December 1938 – 12 September 2014) was an Australian psychologist, biochemist and writer. He was a faculty member of the University of Technology, Sydney for more than 43 years until his death. At the time of his death, he was also the Director of Health Psychology Unit.

Nacida el 14 de julio de 1970 en Melbourne, Victoria, Antonia es la hija menor del Dr. David Anthony Kidman, un biólogo, y de Janelle Ann Glenny, una auxiliar de enfermería. A los dos años, su familia se mudó a Sídney, Nueva Gales del Sur. Asistió al Monte Sant'Angelo Mercy College, una escuela de niñas situada en el norte de Sídney .
Antony Kidman, de 80 años, era un respetado psicólogo del Royal North Shore Hospital y director de psicología en al Universidad de Tecnología de SIdney, Australia. Trabajaba como investigador del impacto psicosocial de las enfermedades y era asiduo colaborador en radio y televisión, además de publicar artículos en diversas revistas académicas.
