Aram Avakian was an editor and director, known for End of the Road (1970), 11 Harrowhouse (1974) and Lad: A Dog (1962). He was the original editor for The Godfather (1972), but was fired by Francis Ford Coppola. He was also a filmmaker, a Jazz producer, and a French New Wave expert.
