The Australian Ballet School is the national centre for elite vocational classical dance and the school of The Australian Ballet. It offers an eight level programme for students who want to join The Australian Ballet and top professional dance companies, with a focus on health, well-being and academic support.
The ABS Full-Time Program offers a well established and internationally recognised vocational dance training from Level 4 to Level 8, leading to the Victorian Certificate of Education, the Diploma of Dance and the Advanced Diploma of Dance and the Graduate Diploma of Classical Ballet. Students work in a focused and professional environment with the specialised staff and enjoy the benefits of working in a focused and professional environment with the specialised staff and the industry liaison.
29 de feb. de 2024 · On the 2nd of March 2024, we celebrate 60 years of The Australian Ballet School and look back at some of the esteemed alumni who started their ballet journey in the studios and have gone on to grace stages at leading companies in Australia and internationally.
The Australian Ballet School’s annual Summer School offers comprehensive training in classical ballet and other dance styles, in a variety of programs for national and international students at The Primrose Potter Australian Ballet Centre in Melbourne.
International Students. The Australian Ballet School welcomes students from across the globe into the Training Program and we maintain strong relationships with top calibre ballet institutions worldwide. Each year, we accept international students into the Full-Time Program (Level 4 to 8).
