DJ Magic Mike (born Michael Hampton, May 9, 1966) is a Miami bass record producer, rapper, and the first platinum selling recording artist from Orlando, Florida. He is also a former member and former lead vocalist of the rap trio Vicious Bass along with rappers DJ Lace & MC Madness.
DJ Magic Mike is certainly the king of Bass Music as he stands as one of the most important pioneers and long lasting veterans in the Miami Bass scene. He first came up as the DJ for MC Cool Rock & MC Chaszy Chess but by 1988 he was dropping his own material which was Miami Bass with a whole lot of scratching.
