8 de sept. de 2015 · Founded in Richmond, Kentucky by Jimmy Stokley, Ronnie ‘Mack’ Davenport, Paul Smith, Mike Howard, Billy Luxon, Buzz Cornelison, and J.P. Pennington – while all were still in high school – the band found a following in the Lexington area. But, the Exile story doesn’t end there.
By 1973, the lineup included original members Jimmy Stokley, Billy Luxon, J.P. Pennington, and Buzz Cornelison, along with Kenny Weir on bass, an additional keyboardist named Bernie Faulkner, and drummer Bobby Johns. They released their first LP, the self-titled Exile, with that lineup on the Wooden Nickel label.
