The College operates for 50 weeks during the year, with formal lessons held for 42 weeks. The yearly calendar is generally the same as for NSW government schools. During term, classes begin at 8.30 am with last classes finishing at 5.30pm. As a rule full-time preliminary students attend classes for at least 24 hours each week.
