Bret Sergeant Hart (Calgary, Alberta; 2 de julio de 1957), conocido en el ring como Bret "The Hitman" Hart, es un luchador profesional retirado, escritor y actor canadiense, que trabaja actualmente para la World Wrestling Federation/Entertainment (WWF/E) bajo las reglas del contrato de leyenda; y también trabajó para la World Championship Wrestling (WCW).

Bret's agile, technical style – which earned him the moniker "The Excellence of Execution" (coined by Gorilla Monsoon ) [6] [37] – created a contrast with his partner Neidhart's strength and brawling skills.
Hart emerged from Calgary's Stampede Wrestling, coming to WWE as a tag team with his brother-in-law, Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart. Together, The Hart Foundation won the World Tag Team Titles twice and became one of the most popular pairings in WWE. From there, The Hart Foundation separated, and Bret became and instant sensation as a singles star.
