14 de nov. de 2023 · Buakaw began his fighting career at the age of eight in his home region of Surin in the northeastern Thailand. He then moved to Chachoengsao aged 15 and trained with the Por. Pramuk Gym. Buakaw has added a number of championships to his name fighting in Bangkok. The Omnoi Stadium featherweight strap was his first belt.

In March of 2012 Buakaw publically appeared on a Thai TV talk show to explain his unhappiness with his current management at Por. Pramuk gym. He felt he’d been underpaid by the gym and announced that he was leaving the gym. The Por. Pramuk gym still had him under contract and prevented him from fighting at Thai Fight in April of 2012.
For his protein Buakaw Por Pramuk consumes fish, seafood and farm animals, such as chicken and turkey. Not only taking a step up in competition against the most internationally renowned kickboxer of all time, there was added intrigue in that Petrosyan’s only loss had come to a stablemate of Buakaw’s, Nonthanan Por Pramuk.
