Câmpia Turzii (en húngaro: Aranyosgyéres) es un municipio en el distrito de Cluj, Transilvania, Rumanía, ubicada junto al río Arieş. La localidad está ubicada al sudeste de Turda y a 40 km de Cluj-Napoca. Su nombre actual proviene de 1925 tras la unión de las ciudades de Ghiriş-Arieş y Ghiriş-Sâncrai .
Câmpia Turzii (Romanian pronunciation: [kɨmˌpi.a ˈturzij]; German: Jerischmarkt; Hungarian: Aranyosgyéres) is a municipality in Cluj County, Transylvania, Romania, which was formed in 1925 by the union of two villages, Ghiriș (Aranyosgyéres) and Sâncrai (Szentkirály). It was declared a town in 1950 and a city in 1998.
In 1987, when the air base finally became fully operational, the 71st Regiment was moved to Câmpia Turzii and started operating MiG-21 fighters. Between 1988 and 1990, the 71st Regiment was moved to Târgu Mureș while some infrastructure works were carried out at Câmpia Turzii.
