Cao Yuan ( simplified Chinese: 曹缘; traditional Chinese: 曹緣; pinyin: Cáo Yuán; born 7 February 1995) is a Chinese diver and an Olympic gold medalist, having won three golds, one silver and one bronze in the Olympics. He has also won golds in diving at the World Championships and World Cups .

Yuan Cao (Chinese: 曹原; pinyin: Cáo Yuán) is a Chinese physicist. His research is focused on the properties of two-dimensional materials. He discovered that a stack of two sheets of graphene, cooled to 1.7 K, could act as a superconductor or as an insulator when exposed to an electric field.
